Complex Sentence

I learnt how to write complex sentence.

First we resived what a complex sentence is and what a complex sentence is made of.

Next we learned an aawwubbis which are: As, Although, After, While, When, Unless, Because, Before, If, and Since.A complex sentence has an aawwubbis and two simple sentence stuck together.

Lastly we made a two cell comic srtip to practice writing complex sentence. A complex sentence has an aawwubbis and two simple sentence stuck together.

I need to improve on writing better complex sentence. I did well on writing a complex on the first page. I need to improve on taking the photo.

T-Ball Skill

We learned about different T-ball skill. The skill we learned were hitting, running and throwing.

First we practised thorwing the ball by playing ball rain.

Next we practised running between the bases by having a relay race.

Lastly we practised hitting the ball by play a game. By hitting the ball on the tee.

I enjoyed playing t-ball because I never played before. I did well on running between the bases. I need to improve on hitting the ball because when I try to hit it hard it goes soft.

Compound Sentences

I learnt how to write compound sentences.

First we revised our states which were simple, continuous, and perfect. We revised our tenses which are present, past, and future.

Next we learnt what a compound sentences are. A compound sentences has a subject, a verb, a object, and fanboys. A compound sentence has two simple sentences combine. The fanboys are for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so. to explain what a compound sentence is.

Lastly we revised that continuous sentences needs an “ing” because you are doing it for a unstopping period. We had to do a google side and wrote 6 compound sentence using continuous present, continuous past, and continuous future.

I enjoyed this task because we had to use compound sentences. I did well on writing a continuous present sentences. I need to improve on writing a continuous future sentence.

Vocabulary

We learnt how to look up new words.

First we wrote what our prior knowledge about drums is. One piece of information about drums is: Drums are an instrument. The information for the south pacific is: The south pacific an ocean.

Next we started to define difficult words from the book called South Pacific Beats. We use Wordhippo and Wordsmyth.

Lastly we started to find synonyms and antonyms of the word. Synonyms is a word that has a similar meaning to the other word. Antonyms is the opposite of the word. We started to find or draw a picture that matched the word. We also had to write a sentence with the word in it.

I enjoyed this task because we found lots of drums that we did not knew. I need to improve on writing the antonyms. I did well on finding the synonym for the word because there was more synonym than antonyms.

Fraction

We learnt fractions.

First we had to get in two groups and we also had to get in groups of two.

Next we made a google slide to show what a fraction is and also made a picture to show what a fraction is.

Lastly we had to explain what the difference is between two groups and groups of two.

I enjoyed this task because I learnt what the difference is between two groups and groups of two. I did well on explaining what the difference is between two groups and groups of two. I need to improve on explaining what an fraction is.

My Email

We learnt how to write a polite email.

First we talked about what an emails need. An emails need a subject, greeting, body, and sign off.

Next we revised what kind of diiferent subjects, greetings, body, and sign offs are there. One of the sign off is “regards”, and the “greeting” is dear.

Lastly we wrote a polite email to Mr Wong using  subject, greeting, body, and sign off.

I enjoyed this task because I did not know that regards was a sign offs. I did well on writing the email to Mr Wong. I need to improve on using better greeting like Dear and the better sign off, Sincerely.

HPE/Hockey/Revising

Today I revised the skill of hockey.

First we revised our dibbling by playing a game. We learnt a new rule of hockey which is: if the ball touch your foot you are out. The game was called taniwha, if the taniwha hits the ball out the square or make the ball touch your feet you are out.

Next we revised the push pass and played a game to practise our pass with partners and applied dibble dibble push pass.

Lastly we played a game called 4 Corner hockey to revised all the skill.

I enjoyed this because I learnt the new rule of hockey. I need to improve on the dibble dibble push pass. I did well on dibbling the ball.
